Tuesday 6/12/11 – In Brief…. – 14:22.9N 51:32.4W

Short one tonight, as we had a fast and furious overnight sail last night and everyone is feeling tired since the motion and noise were more than we could easily mute. The wind has died a bit, though we are still making 6 knots, but are expecting this to ease overnight and tomorrow.

Our routing has kept us away from the worst of the squalls that are around, but will take us south of a trough tomorrow that will mean light winds for a couple of days. We may have to declare some engine hours, I fear!

Lots if boats are in already and we envy them the tranquillity of a night without movement and noise! Dream on, since we will not join them until well into next week.
