Yes, we've seen kangaroos

Every visitor to Australia wants to see kangaroos, and we’re no exception.
And Bundaberg Marina is a great place to start. There are kangaroos grazing at
the head of our jetty most mornings and a herd of a dozen or so live in and
around the local Burnett Heads community. Here are a few pictures of local
roos:
And here, in a more ‘natural’ setting in a local National Park, with one on
the right caught in mid-bounce:
These are all eastern greys Macropus giganteus which have actually
increased in number since the arrival of Europeans as they like short grassland
– there are estimated to be about 11 million in Australia today. They are the
second biggest kangaroo, weighing up to 95kg and standing over 2m tall, and able
to travel at over 60km per hour.
Kangaroos leave a very distinctive footprint as seen on a local
beach:
