The End is near

The seas were less confused today and the crew was better for it. The wind held steady between 15-20 knots from SE with gusts up to 25 knots and we made great progress to our waypoint, St.David’s Light House at the eastern end of Bermuda. There are only 98 miles left to go and ETA for arrival in Bermuda is 14:00 hour in broad day light. This is a good thing since we were told that the approach to the narrow cut at the entrance to the harbor is full of shoals and rocks strewn with hundreds of shipwrecks, remains of unfortunate sailor’s and their ships from times past. We want to see where we are going passing by this treacherous area. Next message will hopefully come to you from sunny and friendly Bermuda…
