Having decided yesterday afternoon we had to turn off the engines now, to conserve the last of our fuel, and simply drift until the trade winds picked up (it had been almost a week of zero wind, SO frustrating), at around 4am the wind picked up – ok, only 10 knots True – but hey, sails up at last, and we’re moving!!  Still not sure we’ll make Barbados by Christmas, but at least we’re on our way …..
