So this is it, our Atlantic odyssey begins today, 27 Oct. 09, (Ali’s Birthday).  After a hectic couple of weeks preparing Talulah for the Atlantic, we’re about to leave Gibraltar.

John (Plimmer) has joined us and is going to do the leg to the Canary Islands.  He’s been a great asset and helped whittle down our never ending list of maintenance and repairs, and so now in a couple of hours time we cast off.

We’ve made the decision to start with a little hop first, about 24 hours to Rabat in Morocco, where we hope to spend a couple of nights, and celebrate Ali’s birthday in style.  After that we’ll head across to the Canaries (Lanzarote) and then drop John off in Fuerteventura, on the weekend of 7^th / 8^th November.
