A correction about the depth of the Gulf Stream

In my first blog post, I mentioned that the Gulf Stream is over a mile deep. That's an exaggeration . . . an outright lie . . .a fabrication of the worst sort.

The Gulf Stream where we'll be crossing it, is only a half-mile deep.

It's the Tongue of the Ocean, which we'll cross a few days later, which is over a mile deep.
