Arrived in Port Lincoln after a very pleasant sail from Wedge Island.
Only had 10 knots of wind and
Scarlet managed 6.5 knots over the ground – not bad laden with 1000 litres
of water and 1000 litres
of fuel (well minus a few days anyway).
The boys got the beautiful red asymmetrical sail up which helped with the
light winds.

pleasant Bryce
holding on to that kite!
conditions
Bryce tried his hand at a spot of fishing last night, but they all just
swam in and looked
at his lure and swam away. (It might have helped if he had some
bait?).
A bit of spring cleaning and more provisioning on Scarlet today in PL (yes,
more food!!) ready for our 4-5 days across the Bight.
Leaving in the morning for probably Daw or Middle Island in the Recherche
Archipelago of Esperance.
We are off to the Marina Hotel Bar for dinner tonight (all of 20 steps from
the boat). Tracy’s plane is arriving late, so won’t
see her till around 8.30pm tonight.

the washing hanging all over her)
LESSON OF THE DAY:
Just because you spend $400 on fishing gear, doesn’t mean you are going
to catch anything!!
Cheers..............
