Had a lovely meal at the Couta Boat Cafe in Queenscliff after a spectacular
entry into the Cut and straight into the marina berth on a slack tide.
Left Queenscliff on Monday morning at 0730 on an outgoing tide just before slack
– perfect timing. Did have to wait until the Sorrento ferry docked – he’s
bigger than us.

The ‘Brainstrust’
Mother nature has been very kind to us with winds coming in the right
direction, along with the seas and tide. Scarlet coasting along nicely –
averaging around 7 – 8 knots. A magnificent half moon appeared out of the
ocean at around 1.30 am over the stern to light the sky, in and out of the
clouds.
Through out Port Philip Bay and The Southern Ocean have been plenty of
seals, dolphins, albatross and many other sea birds (as we don’t have a bird
book, we’ve named a few ourselves).

Shortly entering South Australia (Latitude 38.17.309S and 140.57.790E)
The sea looks worse than it really is................I swear!
Another day until Kangaroo Island where we will stay a day or two to
explore – apparently there’s a few gin/vodka distilleries and a brewery.
Bye until then.....................
