We have spent the last 2 nights at Navadra Island. It's actually 3 little uninhabited Islands that form a protected anchorage. The open side of the anchorage is protected by a reef. So apart from the ever present roll it is very secure. The place is just like the South Pacific island of your dreams. White sand, coral reefs, coconut palms and all that stuff. The only thing that breaks the harmony is the sound of the goats bleating on shore.
We have had up to 5 boats with us over the 2 days - including the super yacht Imagine. They just keep following us around!! But they are ok as neighbours. They forget to turn their lights off at night and consequently run their genset all night, but they aren't into rowdy parties and seem to go to bed at 9 pm like the rest of us! We are down to 3 including us now - all NZ boats.
Weather is still very light - we won't expect anything stronger than 10 knots until tomorrow night, when we will be back in Vuda marina. Pia flies out midday Tuesday and Pat and Nigel arrive around 4 the next day. We then have a few days to re provision and get our customs clearance before departing for Vanuatu.
