We reluctantly left Debert and our cousin Dick
after 4 interestng days in Nova Scotia. The weather had
finally turned from overcast/rain to "severe clear" with lots of sun,
bright blue sky and warm temperatures. This was the first day in
over a week where we did not encounter rain.
Lucky pick for departure.
Gorgeous all the way across PEI and over the
Atlantic Gulf to Newfoundland. Our destination was Deer Lake, a
remote town, on the North West coast of the island.
We will stay in this area for 3 days before heading
over to Goose Bay and onward to Greenland.
