Now for today's trip.

We arrived "Down Under" this afternoon.   Very nice flight in beautiful weather all the way from Bali to Darwin.  

With the help of a slight tail wind from Kupang we covered the 979nm trip in 5:39.   

After all the stories we have heard about customs and immigration difficulties here, we can report nothing but super treatment by the officials at Darwin.   We spend 45 minutes from touch down to exiting the airport.   We did use a ground handling company, Pearl Aviation, and there is no doubt this makes entry much easier than trying to do self handling at larger airports.  

I will tell you about the horror story with airport officials and their exorbitant, arbitrary charges trying to leave Bali.   It will be covered in the Bali log book update soon.
