                | Our position is 16:28.52N 61:48.15W Saturday 26th March. We left Antigua heading for Grenada at about 6:30am
this morning. Departure was delayed a little by changing the headsail for a
bigger one and completing the last few preparations for sea. A slight hangover
from a rum run yesterday afternoon and a good evening at the Copper and Lumber
didn't help. However once the mud was washed off the anchor and
chain and sails set we picked up a good breeze just outside the harbour and have
been sailing well all morning. Beam reaching under full main and the big genoa.
We are about 10 Nm  from Guadeloupe as midday approaches. It is
our intension to sail the 300miles to Grenada in one go and then work our way
back north through the Grenadines in easy stages. It is good to be at sea again. |
