As i type we are now rounding Finisterre and BOB has been successfully passaged again.

Yesterday we had 2 reefs in the main and 2 ½ in the genoa with up to 27 knots and a huge swell. The good news is we managed 232 Nm in 24 hrs so the new girl has done us proud.

As of 12.00 we were in full sail on a reach doing 9 knots but it didn’t last and now we are motoring in 7 knots trying to get down the coast as fast as poss as unfortunately there is something nasty coming near Morocco on Monday.

As the waves have calmed we all managed a shower and apart from the notable change in temp we also had another hr or 2 of light so things are on the up.
