12:38.82N 61:23.5W We anchored on the RH side of the bay behind the numerous buoys laid by Mayreau Island Moorings. They also charge EC45 per night, but as there seems no guarantee of what’s down there, and on reading various blogs of yachts dragging, we prefer to lie to our own 75Lb anchor and chain. A Lovely bay with a few local Beach Bar restaurants. We chose the Jungle Bar, as they had a sign up for free wifi, and we had excellent BBC cocktails (Baileys, Banana and Coconut Cream), local Carib beer and local delicacy Conch fritters. Lots of coconut trees, I was able to find only one on the ground which was still intact, although mature it will still provide us with lovely fresh coconut to eat.
