                | Finally getting around to my blog. I had forgotten
to figure out how to move the position along, so have waited until I could do
this justice..... Had a great sail to Bonaire from Grenada way back
in November, and stayed there 5 days. Did a tour of Bonaire in a hire car with
John and Andy from S.Y. Happy Spirit", which was mostly off-road stuff, but a
lot of fun. Only had one incident of having to physically push the car out
of mud, so a good day ! Not much wind while we were there, but can see why
it's a windsurfing mecca. Bonaire is a very dry island which harvests tons of
salt every year, the other main industry being tourism. We also saw lots of
flamencos, wild pigs, and healthy looking donkeys on our travels. |
