So, its safe to say we're not breaking any speed records so far this trip! The wind died off completely around midnight local time last night, and we spent the night alternately motoring, motor sailing or drifting. At 10.10 LT this morning, we got enough to sail, and have been ever since, but not at any significant speeds.
We seem to have picked up some favourable currents though, which is helping. We have 110nm left to run until the Messina Straights so should be there during daylight tomorrow.
All is well.
