32:38.69N 16:54.33W 23^rd   We’ve arrived in Funchal capital of Madeira wet and weary. We are at anchorage which is very rocky and rolly.  The voyage was like a game of 2 halves, first half was light winds, flat seas and very sunny whereas the second was high winds, patchy sun and rough seas. Also we were nearly run down by a fishing boat on the first night out. If it hadn’t have been for our last minute evasive action we’d be matchsticks. Bit of déjà vu here with our trip around cap St Vincente last year. Neither have got our sea legs yet, so have been on a fast for the last few days. Looking forward to dry land and eating properly.
