Passed the 1000 mile point early yesterday evening, good progress but heading south of our destination by 200/300 miles at the moment but the boat is going well, so good boat speed and relatively comfortable sailing is taking precedence over direction at the moment - for review tomorrow. I suspect there will be a divergence of views but we willl see. Almost no sea life above water, that we can see. The occasional flying fish, and I saw one bird that circled for about 10 minutes this afternoon, otherwise it is true wilderness - sea, sea and more sea. Seventh day at sea and it is getting a bit monotonous
