GYBED!! Finally heading South for the
Marquessa Islands. GPS says 1353 Nm to go, 6 days and 3 hours.
However we have the doldrums and the equator to cross yet so will possibly be
experiencing a mixture of conditions in which the wind and rain can come out of
nowhere giving us 45 kt winds and driving rain in a matter of minutes!
RADAR watch going to be the key to the next 300 miles or so in order to spot the
squalls early and steer round them.
