400 miles down, 740 to go. Seas and breeze
have finally calmed down a bit after 36 hours and beautiful
morning.
Heading a wee bit west of course to avouid
nasty low pressure system which is due to hit top of the North Island on tuesday
- bringing 50kt winds and 6m seas. Hoping we should avoid it but may have
to overnight stop in the shelter of Norfolk Island on tuesday - then a good
sailingt angle into NZ.
All well on board. Just cracked open the
first coconut.
SPD 10kts, TWS 15kt, TWD 080. Sunny
skies, rods are out waiting for the 1st fish.
