Less than 1000 nm to go!!!

 

Sunny day reaching in force 4 with again rolly sea. Had a hole yday we motored thru and then picked up the NE trades about 0200.

 

Full main yankee and staysail. Fishing again but Allden having no luck. He got a baby dorado yday and let it go – hope he´´ll do better today. So far the ´´official´´ reason we have no fish is because skipper chose the lure.

 

Tried to get crew to put assymetric up but after a lot of foot shuffliing and muttering earlier bravado notwithstanding, resulted in decision by the ever considerate skipper that sea state was not conducive and would put undue stress on the rig i.e. the crew.

 

So we opened a cold one and continued with the wide ranging intellectual discussion of the day.

 

Glad our weather  a bit better than PNW and UK. Getting quitee hot aytime but night still needs jacket.
