We left Mindelo yesterday just before noon and to be
fair to the engine it did get us out, but as soon as the swell picked up, it
started misbehaving. Ian seem to have narrowed the issue to fuel supply, which
is much better than a head gasket replacement.
We enjoyed Mindelo, having been there eight years ago. A
lot of development has happened in the meantime and the town seem to be
prospering.
We now have a long stint at sea. I hope to be in Cape
Town around the 29th November but it all depends on our passage through the
doldrums and the position of the St Helena high weather system. Fingers crossed
that they will be favourable.
It's very hot here atm. 32 degrees centigrade in the
boat.
