We covered 145 miles in the last 24 hours at an average
speed of a little over 6 knots. The wind did ease off a bit in the night but at
the moment, we are happy with this return. We had two incidents where we were
approached by small craft as we were only 30 miles away from the African coast
but luckily they were fishing boats. Ian at one point decided to switch off the
navigation lights at night so that we were in stealth mode.
We have done a few jobs this morning, but our concern at
the moment is some particulate in the water. Neither of us feels unwell but we
will have to get some sort of filtration system sorted in Cape
Town.
