We took an anchor buoy in a lovely spot that is right on
the reef that creates the harbour and looks out to the east across the open
ocean. We plan to leave early on Wednesday morning to go to Grenada so we
checked out with customs and immigration on Tuesday afternoon. It is a
requirement that we check out of one country and into the next so, since these
islands are different countries (St Lucia, St Vincent, Grenada), this happens
with each significant move. It usually takes about half an hour but can be quite
a lot longer depending on the forms to be filled and the speed of the customs
officers. |
