Update from Ailsa
A bad day in Skegness. No way, this is half way down the Portugese
coast.
At least the rain is warmer although not much. Good news is that the
winds
for the rest of the trip are from the North so excellent chance to test out
the down wind rig.
The diesel issue is – fingers crossed – now resolved and a good
dollop
of Sickaflex has sorted a deck leak aside one of the stays.
Despite these minor problems we and Ailsa are in one piece. Spirits are
high
both in this camp and generally as we close in on Cape St Vincente with
Nick and Andy doing a sterling job and one of the monuments on
today’s
tour seemed apt - “Virgin of Expectation”.
