                | Position at 5pm 06 Dec, 29 52N 76 46W.  Wind
finally eased to 15 - 18knots over the boat after over 20knots for most of the
day.  Seas starting to flattened out but still a lumpy ride, somewhat like
liviing in a bouncy castle with frequent crash landings.  Skipper
reports we have a nice sunset so hopefully tomorrow will be another lovely
day.  Still 2 nights to go, progress slow, fighting some current and if we
go any faster we just fall off the waves so we are taking the slow and steady
approach.   Landfall in the Bahamas undecided, possibly the
Abacos as have been hard on the wind since leaving and not laying Eleuthra and
have no desire to do an 80 odd mile tack out.  More
tomorrow.    |
