We are just over half way, 230nm down and about 225nm to run, hoping to arrive in the anchorage on Tuesday morning.
We left Rabat around 2pm on Friday with 5 other boats, we were the last to leave as we needed the high tide with our deeper draft to clear the bar.
Friday night was a mixture of light winds then no wind so we ended up motoring, avoiding fishing boats, surface nets, long lines, pots and the odd freighter, there was little time for sleep.
Saturday morning dawned clear but by about 9am a heavy fog rolled in off the land, that added to the excitment for a while but eventually we came out the other side.  We were running parallel to the Moroccan coast till late in to last night, so all the fishing traffic continued.
We have been running under "big red", our light wind MPS (multi purpose sail) for nearly 24 hours, the winds are around 8-10 knots and it is quite comfortable.
