Well we made it to Ibiza Alan, Avryl, Colin Hussell, and Alan Phillpot – 4.5 days and nights! The weather was not particularly kind to us! We had 1 sunny day with a nice NE wind when we had showers (yes we washed!), put the shorts on and had beer O'clock and dinner out side! The next 24 hours were the other extreme – gale force winds, high rough seas, fully reefed to a handkerchief but the hydrovane (Self steering gear) kept us on track and took the most workload. Watches were short in order to keep warm and rest. We all worked as a team and managed splendidly (Thanks chaps!). We saw lots of dolphins and picked up a few new friends who flew in for a rest. Ibiza is warm and sunny! Alan P and Colin have gone home. Now it is just Alan and I for the next week. We are setting of at the crack of sparrows tomorrow to go the the Spanish Main land!
