Weather began to improve just before sunset. No more rain but still a lot of
high cloud - at least it is cool on
board, and even more cool at sunset, when a pod of small grey dolphins,
maybe
8 or 10, came to play at the front of the boat. Really fast, they didn't do
the usual bow wave surfing, but seemed to want to play, coming at
the boat very fast and then either diving under, or swerving away at the
last moment - great fun to watch..
Moving off the shelf into deeper water now. Wind is now less than 5kts from
the
SW, calm seas with gentle swell. Unfortunately, the currents seem to be
slackening..........
