Still in Ao Po Marina.  Bob Fisher a friend, who lives here in Phuket has lent us his 4x4 Toyota Truck for a week to provision the boat and generally sight see.  Great to be mobile.   We have seen most of the island on our previous visit, but it is good to have the flexibility to try different restaurants as Ao Po is out in the sticks.

We are still waiting for the electronics update, and I discovered yesterday (after 2 years of searching) why the back up chart plotter occasionally loses satellite reception.  The co-ax cable had partially broken where it was "silicone sealed" through the wheelhouse roof, and the terminal on the antennae had corroded badly.  The corrosion led to me removing the antennae (and co-ax) which led to the discovery.  All I have to do now is find the approriate bits for an out-of-production antennae. 

We plan to leave here next Wednesday and sail around Phang Na for a week or so - maybe even out to the Similans weather permitting.  All these choices.
