We are at sea again! My good friend Sophie from South Africa is joining Topaz again for this short trip to Europe. In the first hour, after leaving Ponta Delgada in the Azores, we had dolphins and a quite large shark swim by. The wind and weather has been all over the place though - 8 knots to 32 knots and sunshine to heavy rain. We have 2 reefs in the main as there is a small tear I need to repair (glue + sew) when conditions calm down. But we are still making reasonable speed with the reduced sail area. All good onboard.
