Just a quick note tonight as dark and bouncy. Winds 10 â 15kn from sw ish so 2 reefs in main nd half jib to make course of 292 when we really want 223. The better tack would make us hit Columbia, probably not a good idea. Just as John was about to open the tin of mackrell, the fishing line screamed and we had tuna again, enough for one fantastic pigout meal with salad. Needless to say, it was the time when the boat needed attention and the wind had just picked up again.Still, now all fed, lifejackets on watch and settling down for the night, with loads of stars again we hope.
