it hard going, even though they were following and giving us a ground
speed of 10k. We decided to divert to Benalmadena since it was 5h closer,
´but that put the wind and seas on the beam: a miserable 5 hours. To cap
it all, I couldn't see the cardinal mark at the harbour entrance because
of all the light clutter and Andrea spotted it 6 feet dead ahead: God
knows how I missed it (both senses of the word!) That'll give me
nightmares for a while. Tied up at 0130 and decided to stay a couple of
days.
We went yesterday (Friday) over to see Lisa Elliot and Lily who are taking
a weeks break just down the coast.
