Title: New Zealand in sight

We have spotted North Cape with the light from the new day. A very slow night with the wind dying and becalming us, quite frustrating being so close on the charts it has seemed the last 150 miles are taking forever. We are back sailing now, B team in charge of course so hope to pass the cape by lunchtime. A fantastic run from New Caledonia, this is what it’s about. Now if I can just persuade everyone to have a shower it may make life on-board more pleasant.
