| At 9am this morning the WCC announced a minimum 18 hour postponement. So, we are delayed from the planned start at 1pm today until 7am tomorrow morning or later. It is very windy and quite gusty. A key issue is also the sea state because the wind has been honking for several days. The Royal Navy forecast, supplied by NIgel’s son Richard, shows 4 metre waves which are not great for fully loaded ARC boats. Some of the pontoon mooring lines were broken during the night with some damage to boats. We are currently fine. A crew member busy with provisions……  |
