Position 40:41.17N 74:03.79W Libert State Park, NYC
After a few days visiting NYC (Native American Museum, Natural History Museum, 911 Memorial, Central Park, Empire State Building etc etc etc) and a couple of windy days in Port Washington we tootle through the East River and past the Statue of Liberty and find a restful overnight anchorage alongside Liberty State Park. The East River was not as pretty as very anticipated and very busy once through Hells Gate. Didn’t help that the HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier arrived at the same time as us! Pretty full on while trying to take photos of the Statue of Liberty!
