Dear Blog

Well they all arrived on time after the long taxi ride up from St Lucia
airport. Discovered that the top end keel rope was slipping too so decided
to book a lift out on the Rodney Bay travelift for the Tuesday morning.
Went out to Pigeon Island for the night first for a swim before returning
at 9am- when lifted William and I adjusted the top end of the rope
successfully but this took till midday - with the insurance surveyor in
attendance but adding nothing we did not know!

Then off to Soufrieres where we booked another meal at Harmony Beach, then
went ashore for a look around Soufrieres. Wonderful place and real St
Lucia one felt. Next day off to Bequia where we anchored on Princess
Margaret beach for the second time. Next day after a walk ashore in Bequia
on to the magnificent Tobago Cays making sure we missed all rocks!! (2
photos show Nightsong and one of the love birds). Spent the afternoon
spotting the turtles, igauanas on one of the islands and pelicans

Next day back to Wallilabou for another visit - plagued by boat boys as
always - very tiresome here. Excellent meal ashore (chosen and shouted by
Simon to the doubt of the skipper) at a little local restaurant at the end
of the beach - best rum punch of the voyage so far. But we waited till
11pm to eat so we all drank too much! Onwards on the Saturday to Marigot
Bay St Lucia (40 odd miles and a great sail - photo of Arabella steering
attached) for our first visit - lovely bay recommended by Thomas. Moored
stern to the restaurant and had a great meal (shouted by William). Photo
of him attached somewhat the worst for wear!

Sadly this crew left from Rodney Bay the next day - an excellent week with
good sailing, good company and too much booze!
