Hi All

We are sitting in Scuttlebutts, a marina front bar in St Lucia!!  The trip has taken us 19.5 days.

Its very strange being on terra firma, the hustle and bustle in the bar is a far cry from the gentle rocking of the ocean.

Over the line, we were 82, out of 217 yachts.  We wil have to wait and see where the handicap places us overall.  Some yachts have motored a lot of the way which could help us...one yacht used 2,500 ltrs of fuel.  Thats not sailing!!

We were met on the quayside by Bridget, Jan and a few other groupies.  There was a guy playing his steel drums as we gratefully received out welcome punches and fruit basket.

We haven't yet managed to sort out shore power and the battery is low so we need to keep this brief, but we will send photo's and a more in depth summation in the next couple of days.

Thanks for all of the emails and messages of support while we crossing.  They were all much appreciated.

We are now going to allow ourselves to slip in to Caribbean time...nothing happens quickly, but nothing needs to!!

Lots of love
