Just letting you all know we're still out here, now 155 miles from Galle, still clawing our way upwind. We expect to be there in two more days. Since we're approaching the southern tip of Sri Lanka, and therefore of the Indian peninsula, we're encountering a lo9t of big commercial ships. Late yesterday afternoon there was a Man Overboard incident from one of them. We sailed through the area several hours later with our eyes open but I think it's fair to say that the chances of anyone spotting a man in the water in these waves is pretty small, even with all the ships around. Just made us all realise no matter how tired and uncomfortable we are, things could always be a lot worse. And made us remember to wear our harnesses on deck.

Cheers,
