Hello from the birthday girl!
What an amazing day for a birthday...... blue sky, sunshine, flat seas and a boyfriend who is full
of surprises. Mike has been busy spoiling me all day. The celebrations started at midnight with
champagne under the stars, then a breakfast picnic on the upper deck without the engine on, followed
by a quick dip in the sea to cool down.
Now it's a hive of activity in the galley as Mike is donning his pinny and making the birthday cake.
It's a shame you're all not here to share it with us, but I have a funny feeling it won't last many
night watches.
Thank you for all the lovely, thoughtful birthday messages. It really was a huge surprise when Mike
showed me a long string of emails from friends and family all over the world. It made my day!
