As a delivery of a vessel is always a surprise, this one is one of format.
The vessel is general cargo of 120 m long and her destination is Uruguay, Montevideo.
The planning slightly change as the vessel has to go to dry-dock in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
It's close to each other.
The distance is 5400 nm from Colon/Christobal , in Panama till Montevideo.
We are today 10 days on board, in order to prepare the vessel for departure.
The departure is delayed due to technical reasons. We are 11 on board and after one week of inspections, we are full motivated to achieve this new delivery.
The last 48 hrs were very stressy, certainly for the engineers. Taking bunkers (fuel/gasoil), discharging sludge and than fixing the last technical problems.
As per latest info, we would be ready for sailing on the 8th of August 2016 late afternoon.
Hopefully good weather to sail at 14 kts to Montevideo.
