We spent a few very relxing days on Contadora. The daytime as filled with surfing, free-diving, swimming and for me, trying to fix things, so that we would be at 100% (or at least as close as possible) when we sail for Galapagos.

We lifted anchor after a relaxed breakfast and motored south. There was no wind to speak of, but when the wind did pick up to about 6 knots we unfurled the genoa and had it help pull us along. We had much more luck fishing pulling up another two decently sized tunas. We are not exactly sure what fish these are, but we think they are Pacific Bonito. The first fish was on the table ready for consumption 20 minutes after we pulled it out of the water.

Counting the 3 fish we have speared, we are now up to 8 fish in total that we have caught. This means that our fridge is bursting, we've had some tremendous fish meals and it bodes well for our Pacific adventure.

We motorsailed (mostly motored, because the wind was so light) to the southern bay on Isla San Jose and anchored off Ensenada Playa Grande in position 008:15.139N 079:06.070W. We are about two boatlengths away from the reef, well protected from the swell.

Topi is preparing pancakes for dinner and the smell is making it difficult to write ... ... ... so difficult in fact that I'm going to grab a beer and wait for dinner instead :-)
