We have had a sensational sail from Daniel's Bay on Nuka Hiva to where we are now. It has been gennaker weather the whole time. If all goes as planned we will arrive at the South Pass to Fakarava in the morning tomorrow (Wednesday June 16th).

This has been a successful fishing trip as well, because we have caught over 30 kg of fish: 1 x 15 kg Mahi Mahi (also known as a Dorado), 1 x 12 kg Mahi Mahi and 1 x 5 kg blue fin tuna. This has given us a freezer full of fish and some sensational dinners. Life is good when the sea provides.

We are really looking forward to getting to the atolls of the Tuamotos, because then we can enjoy 30 m visibility in the water, beautiful corals, abundant sea-life and the scenery most people associate with the South Pacific: Atolls.
