The day started with One crew member having to jump ship to go back to
work, surely a poor excuse but another one should be on the quay side
by the time we arrived in Plymouth. Left Falmouth late morning trying
to decide whether or not to stop off in Fowey for lunch. The rain
drove the choice to head straight for Plymouth and 16 knots on the
beam meant an average boat speed of 8.5knots; very disappointing after
our 9knot average from Cork to New Grumsby Sound!

The weather was very wet but the a Basking Shark leisurely swam past
the boat, a first for all crew. After Dolphins yesterday and a Basking
Shark today, tomorrow should be a Whale!

With the heavy rain came poor visibility and all the crew searching
for pots and other boats. Nothing was showing on the AIS so imagine
our surprise when a believed to be Russian frigate cruised across our
bow! We've not really being following the news and were somewhat
concerned international relations had taken a turn for the worse!

Boat heating is awesome!

Today's photo was going to be John with the newly repaired ensign but
the rain has delayed this until tomorrow!
