After a weeks rest in Tonsberg, Jammy Dodger set off again on Friday evening for Brevik (40 miles), where new crew Sam Storey will join on Sunday. Only Jan and Danuta at this point, so the local family were press-ganged.  Welcome cousin Anne-Cathrine and her two boys Niels and Jonas. Friday night was spent at anchor in a lovely bay on NE Tjome.  The early start on Saturday was frustrated by thick fog, so the crazy Norwegians went swimming. 14 degrees C!!!  Niels dived in three times!  When the fog lifted we had a lovely sail in sunshine under main and jib, effortless 6 to 7 knots in 8 to 10 knots of wind, what a boat!  Dropping the main was interesting, but we actually did really well in the end. Missed the shops, but Neil’s chilli con-carne saved the day!
