The Marqises islands were the entertainment for the last two weeks, stunning to look at, slightly fantasy , first was Hiva Oa, a small anchorage, definitely to small for 30 WARC boats, plenty of roll , but the island and village were very pleasant.
Next was Tahuata, a classis sand beach with palm trees and no human, Nuku Hiva was next, a big bay with village and we caught it at a time with no swell, finally Ua Pou , a mountain backdrop and a waterfall walk.
Birdlife was slim after Galapagos, eating out and shopping very limited, great to visit , the WARC timescale dictates move on.
Now sailing 4 days to Tuamotu ,for a week or two chilling in coral atolls.
