Unfortunately, by the time you read this we will have been off the radar for a spell (enforced) due to a communication problem arising from us running out of minutes for the satellite phone.

We are assured that this will be resolved Monday AM and therefore you should be reading this shortly thereafter - hence we have no idea how we are getting on versus the opposition and have been unable to report our own position today.

That said, we have had a great day with some great mileage, and champagne sailing, perfect conditions with boatspeeds occasionally up to high 17 knots and pretty consistent 14's and 15's.

Rainbow watch (Matt H, George and Johnathan) recorded what  we think is bets mileage for a 4 hour spell so far with a little over 40 miles - lets hope it was in the right direction!

Now hoping to arrive Tuesday midnight if the breeze holds - we think we have arrived in the trade winds and finally experienced the conditions in the brochure for this race!

Hope all is well.

Sorry the delay - hope nobody was too worried.

Regards,
Duncan
