It’s 7:20a.m. local Sydney time again (we haven’t converted on board to NZ time as it would mess up the watch shifts).   Winds are up now to sustained 20 knots on the nose, manageable but worse is bashing into the waves which are up now to 6-10 feet.

However, we are getting close to NZ and should be rounding late tonight.  Now we are 161 miles from the rounding point and coast..   more to follow tonight.
