September 2014 I stepped of ClassifiedII from Kos and headed back to the UK. Doug and William sailed the boat over the next 6 weeks to Finike Marina in Turkey where she was left over winter. 

December 27th Doug and William flew to La Palma to meet Colin, Mike and Brooke on Finally My Darling aboard a 44 FT Catamaran which they were going to sail across the Atlantic. Unfortunately due to a torn sail only a few hours after the start they had to return back to La Palma, they then sailed over to Tenerife where Doug and Colin made a brief trip back to the UK to order a new sail which was to be delivered in 10 days, this gave me chance to fly out to Tenerife to see them make final preparations before their departure on the 27th January.

22 days later they arrived safely on the island of Martinique in the Caribbean. 

It was an amazing experience for them both and one for William to tick off his bucket list and add to his growing sailing C.V.
