125 miles to go to our destination, the Marina of Marin in Martinique which is on the west side of the island. We are hoping to get glimpses of land before nightfall but it is more likely that our first contact will be seeing the lighthouses on the south of the island.

We will be in the tail enders arriving but not far behind and we are quite please given that Blue jade has the shortest water line length of all the boats in the Rally, so we have not done badly.

We are all dreaming of cold beer and possibly a steak or even some good old fast food.

We have two fishing lines out in a last ditch attempt to hook a final fish. We have done very well so far and definitely can’t complain.

We have had agreed our final approach plan and have talked through all the angles to bring us safely in. Our current ETA is some time Wednesday afternoon. We will all call home as soon as possible.

All very excited about being able to  re-establish contact with family and friends.
